		<description><![CDATA[This sounds very similar to me to what the WS-Policy framework was designed to do. The slight difference I would propose is that the Service Access layer attaches the flags after identifying the consumer. That way the service provider has some control over which policies are applied. I suppose you could have both, e.g. that a consumer requests to include a &quot;simple validation&quot; feature and the service provider could over-ride that and insist that he consumer undergo &quot;Full validation&quot;. This is a real-world example :-)]]></description>
